Responsibilities:
- Edit bi-monthly podcast episodes for clarity and flow
- Create YouTube videos from long-form interviews and video essays
- Develop intro/outro sequences and maintain consistent audio branding
- Edit short-form clips for social media promotion
- Ensure accessibility through captions and descriptions
- Manage file organization and backup systems for media assets
Qualifications:
- Portfolio demonstrating video and/or audio editing work
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere/Audition, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or alternatives)
- Understanding of podcast production workflow
- Ability to edit for multiple formats (long-form, shorts, audiograms)
- Ear for pacing and narrative flow
- Basic color correction and audio mixing skills
