Description:
Document the visuals of protests, conventions, and cultural moments that define our current era. Our Photographers will help us tell stories through images that capture both joy and resistance in community spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Photograph events when possible (conventions, protests, cultural gatherings)
- Develop visual style guide maintaining consistency with brand aesthetic
- Edit and prepare images for web publication
- Ensure ethical photography practices, especially in protest/activist spaces
- Archive and organize visual content for team use
Qualifications:
- Portfolio demonstrating event, portrait, or documentary photography
- Understanding of ethical considerations in photojournalism
- Basic photo editing skills
- Eye for capturing authentic moments over staged shoots
- Ability to work with limited resources creatively
- Respect for consent and privacy, especially in marginalized communities
Currently seeking photographers from: Asia, Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and any regions within the United States or Canada.
